You may have seen before on Facebook that I've been fighting Stage 3 colon cancer. Just as I fight to get my life back on track, it kicks me down.

I've been working hard as a substitute teacher and tutor to get my life back on track because I couldn't work due to cancer.

Today, as I was driving to a sub job, by car gave out. It's going to cost close to $5,000 to get everything fixed. The worst is the alternator. My next door neighbor has used this mechanic for 20 years and swears by his company. They were very nice and informative so I feel I'm not getting ripped off.

The problem is, I can't afford to get my car back and need to work.

I'd love to just pay and pick it up but I can't. I'm stuck. I can't afford to fix my car, therefore I can't afford to get to jobs I have lined up. I am truly trying hard to do the work with kids I love.
