Support Mila going to ABT this summer!

This winter I achieved a lifelong dream of getting into one of American Ballet Theatre’s summer intensive programs. ABT is one of the most competitive summer programs to gain into, and I have been waitlisted every year since 2021. This year I worked harder than I ever have, and managed to make it in! I’m so unbelievably ecstatic to be able to dance in New York City and the ABT studios this summer. This is one step towards the ultimate goal of being in a company I love, doing what I love with my whole heart as a career. This gofundme is an attempt to raise the last of what I need to pay for my tuition and room and board while I am in NYC in June.

 I have been dancing since I was 3, and ballet has always been my passion. I knew I wanted to dance professionally since I was 7 years old. These past 2 years, I have made a major life change and started training privately with Leslie Hench, an incredible former CPYB instructor who previously trained Ethan Steiffel, Sasha Radetsky and other amazing dancers. I’m now living 5 days a week with a host family and finishing my senior year of high school virtually so that I can train full time. I also work two jobs to be able to help my parents pay for my ballet and to be able to save for this intensive. My family and friends have supported me the whole way through my journey so far and I can hardly portray my thanks enough.
