Hi, my name is Thomas, and I’m writing this with a heart full of hope and a clear dream.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve believed that healthcare should be a sanctuary—a place of compassion and competent care for everyone, especially those who need it most. That belief has guided every step of my journey. I recently completed my Bachelor’s in Health Care Administration, graduating with First Class Honors, building on my earlier background and training in medical school. While I learned the science of healing, I also saw firsthand where our systems fall short—where mothers wait too long, where children don’t get the early care they deserve, and where vulnerable people slip through the cracks.
This is why I am so incredibly honored and humbled to share that I have been granted admission to pursue my Master’s degree in a related healthcare field in Canada. For me, this isn’t just another degree. It is the critical next step—the training, the perspective, and the global network I need to begin the work of reforming healthcare systems worldwide. My goal is clear: to build and advocate for systems that render dignified, accessible care to children, women, and vulnerable populations everywhere. I want to help build a world where geography or circumstance doesn’t determine the quality of your care.
Getting here has taken every bit of my savings, dedication, and the support of my family. The cost of international tuition and relocation, however, presents a hurdle I cannot clear alone. To make this move possible, I need to fund several critical steps. Your support will directly go towards:
Securing My Seat: The first installment of my tuition to formally accept my offer at the University of Toronto.
Relocation Essentials: Flights, initial accommodation, and the cost of moving my life overseas.
Mandatory Requirements: Student visa fees, health insurance, and setting up a stable foundation in a new country.
I am reaching out to my community—to friends, mentors, and anyone who shares this vision of a healthier, more just world—to ask for your support.
Every single contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to that lecture hall in Canada, one step closer to the research, the learning, and the partnerships that will equip me for this lifelong work. You won’t just be helping with logistics; you’ll be investing in a future where compassion is systematized and care reaches the corners that need it most.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for believing in this vision, and for considering being a part of this journey with me. It means more than I can express.
With immense gratitude,
Thomas
