I am a former addict living with my oldest son after 10 years in prison. I'm without work, though I'm on the market every day. I was so close to getting my license, but I lost my job and now that I've moved to Fort Dodge, everything is requiring that license. But I have no car to take the test in. My taxes from last year are being held hostage by the IRS pending some insurance forms I've never heard of or know what to do with. Then once I figure that out, it will be another 6-8 weeks. I feel the world is coming against me and I just need some help. If you don't have money, maybe you have an old car that's trusty. I'm so down right now, I don't know what to do. If I could just get that license, I could get work. So here I am asking for a little help. If I can raise $3,000 to pay off all my legal fees and get a car, life would be good. Nothing would hold me back from work.
