Standing With Me in My Fight Against Cancer

At just 18 years old, I received news I never imagined I would have to face — I was diagnosed with brain cancer. At a time when most people my age are planning their future, my life suddenly changed in ways I was not prepared for. What followed was not only the emotional shock of my diagnosis, but a long and difficult physical journey that challenged me in ways I never expected.

I spent three months in the hospital, where my body was pushed to its limits. During that time, I had to relearn how to walk, rebuild my strength, and learn how to talk regularly again. I also had to go through intensive rehabilitation, spending countless hours working to regain basic abilities most people don’t have to think twice about. There was a period when I couldn’t bathe myself or dress myself and had to rely completely on others for even the most basic daily needs. Losing my independence was one of the hardest parts of this journey.

What made this especially difficult is that I have always been the person who helps others. I’ve always been strong, independent, and someone people could rely on. Having to suddenly depend on others — physically, emotionally, and financially — was incredibly hard for me to accept. Learning how to receive help instead of always being the one giving it has been one of the most humbling parts of this experience.

Now, I am facing a long road ahead that includes chemotherapy once a week for the next two years. This ongoing treatment affects my energy, my ability to work consistently, and my day‑to‑day life. The consistency of weekly treatments, combined with recovery time, makes it difficult to maintain normal routines.

Because of this, everyday living costs have become one of the biggest challenges during my treatment. Things like groceries, transportation to appointments, basic necessities, and general day‑to‑day expenses continue even when my body needs rest. These ongoing costs over such a long period of treatment have created a heavy financial strain and can feel overwhelming while trying to focus on healing.

I am reaching out with hope and gratitude to ask for support during this chapter of my life. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the pressure of everyday living expenses and allow me to focus on what matters most right now — continuing my treatment and healing. If you’re unable to donate, sharing my story or keeping me in your thoughts and prayers truly means more than you know.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with me during this fight. Your love, kindness, and support remind me that I’m not walking this journey alone.
