Support My Journey: Studying & Volunteering in Botswana!

Hi, everyone! I am taking part in a study abroad program this spring. I will be taking an 8-week-long course that is focused on child and adolescent evidence-based psychological treatment. Throughout the course, I will learn about risk and resilience factors specific to the children of Botswana and compare and contrast the mental health systems of the US and Botswana. During the last week of the course, I have the opportunity to travel to Botswana where I will get to collaborate with students and faculty at the University of Botswana and volunteer to work with children and families who have been impacted by HIV/AIDS.
