Thank you all for your support for my last semester at Bible School in Costa Rica! Your financial help made it possible for me to grow deeply. It was a life changing experience for me as I took classes on different books of the Bible like Jeremiah, Philippians, and Exodus. I read the first half of the Bible and completed over 40 hrs of Bible study. I learned and greatly improved my Spanish, which I was able to use when I returned home and worked at Glorieta Camps this summer. I volunteered at a girls orphanage and helped plan and run a week-long mission trip in a small town on the Costa Rican/Panamanian border. What changed the most was my confidence in my relationship with God and the will to live missionally wherever God leads me. I am so grateful for being able to attend Portantorches. Thank you for making that possible. 

Before I left, I was given the opportunity to return for the fall semester in a leadership position. After much prayer and wise counsel, I have decided to say yes and go back to Costa Rica! In the next semester I will be doing many of the things that I did the previous semester, but it will be more demanding as a student and a leader. I would love your financial support while I’m there, and I would greatly appreciate your prayers. Although I am mostly funded for my fall semester, I need to raise $1500 for travel and living expenses when I am in Costa Rica. Would you help me reach my goal for this semester?
