Judith Hilarion is a 59-year-old CNA who has dedicated her life to caring for others, and Guy Hilarion is a 61-year-old cab driver who works tirelessly to support his loved ones. On Saturday, 01/24/2026, tragedy struck when Guy Hilarion broke down on the Long Island Expressway. After calling for a tow truck, his wife came to pick him up so they could wait together for help. While they were waiting in their cars, a semi truck collided with the tow truck, causing a chain reaction that resulted in both their cars being hit. Judith suffered several rib and spinal fractures, and now faces surgery, therapy, and a long road to recovery. Both of them are unable to work, and as the breadwinners of their household and newly grandparents, this has put an enormous strain on their family.
