Hi, my name is Carlos Santiago Bertolo, and I’m 13 years old.

I discovered my passion for sailing when I was 10, and since then, it has become not only my favorite sport but one of my greatest passions. I compete for the Club Marítimo Varadero in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

This funding will help me cover:

•The purchase of a Laser ILCA 4 competition boat

•Maintenance costs for at least the next two years

•Travel, transport, and accommodation expenses for national and international championships

After starting in the Optimist class, the time has come for me to take a big step forward into the ILCA (Laser) class. This transition requires more advanced equipment and countless hours of training. That’s why I’ve decided to reach out for your support to help me purchase my first ILCA 4 competition boat and the necessary training gear to prepare for the upcoming national and international championships.

I will keep you constantly updated on my training progress and competition results through my YouTube channel dedicated to sailing.

Once I have competed with this boat, it will be donated to my club so that other young sailors can use it as an initiation boat into the ILCA (Laser) class.
