Two months ago, my husband was diagnosed with leukemia, turning our world upside down. He spent six weeks in the hospital fighting through treatments and tests, and now he faces another big challenge: a stem cell transplant. This means he’ll be in the hospital for another month, and after that, he’ll need to stay close to the hospital for two to three months so he can be monitored closely. During this time, he’ll need a caregiver by his side to make sure everything is okay, and I want to be there for him every step of the way.
Because of this, I will have to take two months off work to care for him. The financial strain of medical bills, travel, and being away from work is overwhelming, but I know that with the support of our community, we can get through this. Every donation will help us cover our bills and make sure my husband has the care and support he needs to recover.
I want to thank everyone who is able to help—it would truly mean so much to both of us. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in our lives as we face this journey together.
