Hi My name is Alexandre Hancox and Im fundraising for my Hero my Dad, he is the most kind and the most fun person to be around is never a dull moment, dad have been struggling with walking for over a year, recently he was admitted to hospital for investigations on his right leg, last week he undergone a surgery as the arteries in is leg had very minimal blood flowing, doctor decided the best course was to remove an artery from is left leg and attach to the right leg and pop a Bipass to try and resolve the problem. Surgery didnt go as plan as the following morning the leg rejected the artery and the bipass as the blood got blocked and the Bipass exploded in his leg so emergency surgery was performed to save is life bringing as to square 1. Doctor tried everything she could but within 1 week his foot become dead so as is leg almost to the groin, he was taken 2 days ago to another surgery where is right left was almost all fully amputated living a very minimal part to save is life or have any further issues in the future.

I created this Go fund me page to ask you to find in your soul to help me bring dad spirit to live and to be able to return to a normal-ish life currently the wait for a prosthetic leg in the Portuguese NHS is 1 to 2 years minimum,, his bathroom will need to be fully adapted and a possible mobility scooter to help him for now to become mobile. he will need a few months to heal and a provisional leg needs to be in place for adaptation then a full leg with physiotherapy to learn how to walk again.

We are also doing a Fundraising event at my Business Hancox Pies which 100% of the funds will go towards dad wellbeing.
