Support My Grandmother in Her Loss

My name is Kylie Linares, and I am the granddaughter of Andrew Wright.

My family, the Linares-Wright Family, is asking for help to raise funds for the funeral of their beloved Andrew Wright — a husband, father, grandfather, and a figure loved by his community.

My Grandfather, Andrew Wright, 66, has been battling with throat and neck bone cancer for the last 4 months, detected in December after surviving his first battle with esophagus cancer 12 years ago. In 2013, he underwent major surgery and fortunately beat his cancer. This time in December, they unexpectedly diagnosed Andrew with Stage 4 Cancer in his throat and neck bone. The cancer quickly spread through his body even after all the treatments he had been given. Sadly, the doctors said he wouldn’t make it any longer and placed Andrew in hospice care.

My grandmother, Linda Wright, who is retired, is struggling financially with all the medical bills and funeral expenses while taking care of her husband 24/7. This last month, for Linda, has been a struggle mentally and physically, which has resulted in downhill emotional health for her and her family. I and my family have done everything possible to help relieve my grandmother’s stress from all that she has been dealing with.

My grandfather unfortunately passed away with her by his side and it has been hard for everyone. We are asking for help to raise $10,000 to help my grandmother, Linda Wright, and the Linares-Wright family as she deals with the costly situation.
