Support my girl get to Guam and the Gold Coast

Hi, my name is Azaniah, and I have been selected for the Samoan U15 girl's national basketball team. The team will travel to Guam for the FIBA Women's Oceania cup. We will play teams such as New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Guam and the Cook Islands. I am fundraising to cover my return airfares to Guam, travel insurance, accommodation, uniform, and food. Also, my high school team St Luke's grammar, just qualified for the Australian All Schools nationals in the Gold Coast last week. So, I'll fly from Guam to the Gold Coast for the all school's national championships. I am very excited and blessed by this opportunity.

This is who I am and where I come from. Representing my heritage on the world stage is an opportunity, privilage and honour. It's an out-of-the-body experience because it feels like I am not the only one selected to represent my culture, it's generations of my family.

My school team is also critical because education and pride in my school are paramount. My team is very talented, and I believe it has what it takes to get to the finals.

The funds will be used for the Guam campaign and the all schools national championships on the Gold Coast. The funds will cover the accommodation, food, transport and return airfares to Sydney.
