As many of you know, I graduated high school this past May, and after much contemplation, I have decided to take a gap year before diving into my next educational and professional endeavors. This year will be a transformative period of exploration, learning, and personal growth, and I am excited to share my plans with you.

The Plan:

1. Travel to Bali and Southeast Asia (August - December):

- I will begin my gap year in Bali, immersing myself in a new culture and environment. This phase of my journey is about stepping out of my comfort zone, experiencing new perspectives, and gaining a broader understanding of the world.

2. Career Exploration in the U.S. (January - April):

- After my travels in Asia, I will return home to focus on my professional development. I plan to visit, intern, and shadow professionals in various industries such as media relations, journalism, and business management. This "career fair" tour, facilitated through connections my parents have kindly arranged, will help me gain insights and clarity about my future career path.

3. Spanish Language and Cultural Immersion in South America (May - August):

- To round off my gap year, I have been invited to participate in a Spanish language and cultural immersion program in South America. This opportunity will not only enhance my language skills but also deepen my understanding of another vibrant culture.
