For the past 12 years, I’ve been blessed to know this extraordinary woman—not only as my daughter’s occupational therapist, but as a dear and cherished friend.

She is one of the kindest and hardest-working people I know. She has dedicated her life to helping children with special needs, giving her time, energy, compassion, and heart to families who needed her. She has always been the person who shows up for others, no matter how much she has on her own plate.

She also loves yoga and running, and has always found strength and joy in caring for herself and those around her.

After bravely battling Stage 3 ovarian cancer and being cancer-free for six years, she is now facing this devastating disease for a second time. Her cancer has returned, and she needs to step away from the life she has worked so hard to build in order to focus on treatment, healing, and recovery.
