Hello, dear friends.
As much as it saddens me to say this, I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 clear cell sarcoma. On July 21, I was sent home on hospice care with a terminal diagnosis.
The cancer has spread to my jaw, spine, both hips, my left arm, and both lungs. The tumors in my spine have left me unable to lift or move my legs at all. I am also unable to sit up in bed on my own. At this point, the only mobility I have is in my right arm.
Earlier this year, after the cancer was first discovered in my left shoulder blade (scapula), my entire left scapula was surgically removed in the hope that all of the cancer had been eliminated. Unfortunately, follow-up scans revealed that it had already spread to my lungs and spine. Since then, we’ve tried multiple treatments and clinical trials, but despite every effort, the cancer has continued to progress.
I am now receiving hospice care at home. Nurses come every day to help with sponge baths, getting me dressed, and providing the care I need.
Even so, I have not lost hope.
I believe in miracles, and I believe with all my heart that Jesus will heal me. I choose to put my faith in Him above anything else. I know what the doctors have told me, but I also know that nothing is impossible with God.
If you’re able to donate, I would be deeply grateful. If you’re not, please don’t feel any obligation. Your prayers mean just as much to me. Because of my condition, I am no longer able to work, and right now I am completely dependent on others for my care. The doctors believe I will remain bedridden for the rest of my life, but I don’t accept that as the end of my story. Miracles happen every day, and I believe Jesus is still in the business of performing them.
Thank you all for your love, prayers, encouragement, and support. They mean more to me than words can express.
