In October, my life changed unexpectedly. I became severely ill with a serious bacterial infection (PID) that required multiple hospital visits, urgent care appointments, and ongoing medical treatment just to stabilize my health. What followed was months of intense medical intervention and a long road I never anticipated.
The strong antibiotics that were necessary to save me also caused additional complications. While they eliminated the infection, they destroyed both bad and good bacteria in my body. This led to painful fungal issues that required further treatment with antifungals. Unfortunately, that cycle came at a cost.
The serious anxiety of being told it can be 2 things:
Both require surgery removal and biopsy:
- Endometriosis blood-filled sister cysts on the left ovary, and thus needed to scrape off scar tissue too and take out cysts.
But with digestive and bloating issues and weight loss,
The other chance of it being around stage two ovarian cancer is very possible… survival rate 70-75% with surgery removal and chemotherapy, and it is aggressive type leading bad after one year but I'm at three months of this.
I’m hoping for the first one with the endo.
I’m only 26 and it’s too soon to deal with cancer
This has affected every aspect of my life—physically, emotionally, and financially. While I am slowly improving, I am currently unable to work and continue to face mounting medical, therapy, and living expenses during this recovery period.
I’m sharing my story because I truly need help. Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward medical care, treatments, medications, and basic living costs while I focus on healing. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or sending words of encouragement means more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being part of my healing journey. Your support gives me hope during one of the hardest seasons of my life.
