I recently underwent what was meant to be a minor heart valve surgery. During the procedure, my heart stopped for more than six minutes. Although the doctors were able to revive me, the aftermath has been extremely difficult.
Prior to the surgery, I was caring for my ailing mother. Since the surgery, my health has taken a serious turn for the worse. I am now battling heart failure and have developed pneumonia while in the hospital. My blood pressure remains dangerously low, I continue to struggle with abnormal breathing, and I’m being considered for a total heart transplant. These complications have left me unable to work and dependent on close medical care.
While I focus on recovery, the reality of everyday life continues. My medical bills are rapidly accumulating, and without an income, I am falling behind on rent. My landlord has begun threatening eviction, which adds even more stress during an already terrifying time.
I am starting this GoFundMe to help relieve some of the financial burden I am facing. Donations will go toward:
- Medical bills and ongoing treatment
- Rent and basic living expenses
- Maintaining stable housing while I focus on recovering
Any amount - even small donations - you can give will make a meaningful difference. Giving anonymously is ok as well (though I'd love to thank you!). If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would be a tremendous help.
Most importantly, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I fight through this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity, and support.
