Support My Father's Recovery After Highway Collision

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Manny Jr., and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult moments my family has faced.

Last Friday morning, my father was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on the highway that included a tow truck and a semi-trailer. He was just 20 minutes away from home when he was struck on the left side while driving. In a miraculous split-second decision, he turned right just in time to avoid a full head-on collision—but still ended up in a devastating crash.

We’re beyond grateful that his life was spared, but his recovery journey will be long and painful. He suffered fractured ribs and serious body injuries, and he’s now undergoing treatment and physical therapy. Doctors are closely monitoring his breathing and left leg. He remains in high spirits, but he is in a lot of pain and will be out of work for the foreseeable future.

My dad does not have insurance and will be unable to earn an income while he recovers. While we are pursuing legal action, the reality is that settlements take time—and my family needs some help.

This GoFundMe will help us cover immediate costs like:

* Physical therapy & ongoing medical care

* Prescription medications & wound treatment

* Transportation to appointments

* Basic needs like food, rent, and bills during his recovery

In addition to this fundraiser, I’ll be organizing a car wash and selling food to raise more funds for my family. I am also in the process of transitioning into a new career path, but my enrollment doesn’t finish until Aug/Sept—so the timing couldn’t be more challenging.
