Dear Friends and Supporters,

My name is Diane, and I am humbly reaching out to seek support as my family and I face one of the most difficult chapters of our lives. I am currently raising funds for my father’s battle against bladder cancer.

Growing up, I longed for a close relationship with my father. He spent the majority of his life working abroad as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), dedicating himself to supporting our family and ensuring that we had access to education and a better future. Although we missed out on many years together, he returned home for good in 2021, my Mom and my siblings were finally able to begin sharing moments we had long awaited. He has always been our rock — working hard, putting everyone before himself, and offering unconditional love and support. Now, he needs us more than ever.

Sadly, just as we began to build these memories, our family was devastated by his recent diagnosis of bladder cancer. He now needs to undergo courses of intravesical chemotherapy—a treatment that is crucial for his recovery.

Unfortunately, the cost of medical care in the Philippines is extremely high, and as healthcare services are not publicly funded, this puts a tremendous financial strain on our family.

It is not easy for me to ask for help, but with the deepest humility, I appeal to your generosity. Any financial assistance you can offer—no matter how small—will be a beacon of hope for our family and will go directly toward my father’s medical care.

We have already spent approximately £2,900 for his initial hospital admission, cystoscopy, and biopsy, and we now face an additional estimated £3,000 for his chemotherapy.

Following the completion of his chemotherapy, my father will need to undergo a CT scan to monitor the condition of his bladder and assess the effectiveness of the treatment. In addition to his cancer diagnosis, he also suffers from Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD), which necessitates regular maintenance medications. These ongoing medical requirements further add to our financial burden, making the situation even more challenging for our family.

We are doing everything we can as a family, but we humbly ask for your support — whether through donations or simply by keeping our Dad in your prayers. Your prayers are powerful, and they mean the world to us.
