Hey I'm Ryan, but most of y'all know me as Guie(guy) online. I'm not one to ask for help from others, I tend to be pretty stubborn unfortunately, it's something I inherited from my dad. Which is why I want to do this....

At the end of August, my dad was let go from his job of 12 years and has been on the hunt for something else to keep him a float since. He's always been a hard worker and amazing at what he does. And I don't just mean with work, but in life. He's always been an independent pillar of guidance to his friends, our family and especially to me. It's not far-fetched to say he really is my hero.

That's why it really hurts to see him going through all of this. He's always been one to deal with his own issues in silence and I just want there to be a way to help him out more than anything. As it always seems to happen in times of need, he's been dealing with major payments back to back while dealing with debt that he has piling up. He even helped me with an out of pocket payment to have my wisdom teeth surgery of $1.2K, which was supposed to be covered by insurance.

My goal for this is to raise at least $2k for my dad, that way general expenses can be covered for a bit and hopefully put his mind at ease until better things come his way. I'm really not sure what else I can do but willfully swallow my own pride and truly ask all of you for help. I would never ask anyone to give what they don't have, but I will ask to give what you can or even share this as far and wide as possible. Thank you all so much!
