My name is Mohamad Hajjaj. I am the former captain of Khadamat Rafah football club in Gaza.

In 2024, I was forced to leave Gaza because of the war. I managed to reach Egypt with part of my family, and today, I’m trying to rebuild a life from scratch in a place that is safe—but full of challenges.

I have a 6-year-old son, and like any father, I want to offer him the chance to grow up, to learn, and to dream. But starting over after escaping war is incredibly difficult. The costs of daily life, school, housing, and basic needs are heavy—especially with no stable income or support system yet in place.

Any support, no matter how small, will make a real difference. It will help me cover essential needs for my child and family as we try to move forward and find a sense of stability after so much loss.

في عام ٢٠٢٤، اضطررتُ لمغادرة غزة بسبب الحرب. تمكنتُ من الوصول إلى مصر مع بعض عائلتي، واليوم أحاول بناء حياة جديدة من الصفر في مكان آمن، ولكنه مليء بالتحديات.

لديّ ابن يبلغ من العمر ست سنوات، وكأي أب، أريد أن أمنحه فرصة النمو والتعلم والحلم. لكن البدء من جديد بعد الفرار من الحرب أمرٌ في غاية الصعوبة. تكاليف الحياة اليومية، والدراسة، والسكن، والاحتياجات الأساسية باهظة، خاصةً مع عدم وجود دخل ثابت أو نظام دعم قائم حتى الآن.

أي دعم، مهما كان صغيرًا، سيحدث فرقًا حقيقيًا. سيساعدني على تلبية الاحتياجات الأساسية لطفلي وعائلتي بينما نحاول المضي قدمًا وإيجاد شعور بالاستقرار بعد كل هذه الخسارة.
