For nearly two years, Gaza has been living through relentless war and unimaginable suffering. My family—my parents, my siblings, and their children—have lost everything. Their home is gone, their savings are gone, and the life they once knew has completely disappeared.
They have been living in a tent for a long time now, surrounded by insects, disease, and extremely harsh conditions that no human being should ever have to endure.
Clean water is almost impossible to find, and even food, when available, is scarce and often unsafe.
My parents are elderly and diabetic, and every day is a struggle for them to survive. They have no electricity, very limited medical care, and no stability or safety. The intense heat in the summer and the freezing cold in the winter make their situation even more difficult.
Like many families in Gaza, they are stuck there with very little help while the borders remain closed and the crisis continues. Because of the border closure, the prices of food and other basic necessities have become extremely high, making daily survival even more difficult. Each day brings more uncertainty and hardship.
I am doing everything I can to support them from Canada, but the reality is that the needs are overwhelming.
I am asking for your help to support my family so they can access food, medicine, and the basic necessities needed to survive during this devastating time. No amount is too small.
Your support can truly make a difference for them. Even sharing this page can help reach someone who may be able to help. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for keeping humanity alive in a time when compassion matters more than ever.
