My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in her liver, colon, ovary, and lungs, and our family is asking for help as she prepares to start chemo in the next week. We are now living on one source of income in a household of eight, and it has become much harder to keep up with the basics while also facing her medical needs.

The impact on our daily life has been immediate. My mom can barely stand for even five minutes without having to sit down because of how much pain she is in. Getting the younger kids ready for school has become difficult, so the older kids have had to step in more to help get them dressed and ready for the day while also managing their own responsibilities. In our home, one child is a full-time college student, one is working full time to help with expenses, one is in high school and works on weekends, another is in high school, and two of the kids are in elementary school.

Donations will help us cover the things our family needs most right now: medical bills, household expenses, and groceries. With chemo starting soon and only one income coming in, any support would make a real difference for my family during this time.
