Help My Family Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.

Hi, my name is Stacy Pearce, and I recently moved to the US a year ago. My father, Horace Pearce, and my niece, Shaniel Harper, who is a hairdresser and a single mom of 2 kids, have been significantly affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.

Hurricane Melissa has left a trail of devastation across Jamaica, and sadly, my family has been deeply affected. My dad's home is destroyed, and my niece's place of business is destroyed. In just a few hours, everything they worked so hard to build was gone.

Right now, they’re focusing on getting the necessary essentials to rebuild, salvaging what little remains, and figuring out how to start again. It will be a long and difficult road to recovery, but we’re determined to rebuild.

My coworkers and friends encouraged me to start this GoFundMe to help my family purchase building materials and basic supplies to rebuild their homes and small businesses. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping them get back on their feet and restore a sense of normalcy after this unimaginable loss.
