A Heartfelt Plea for Survival and Hope
I write to you today with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. My family and I are living through one of the darkest chapters of our lives in Gaza—a place where war, siege, and displacement have turned daily life into a struggle for survival.
We’ve lost everything—our home, our jobs, our security, even the basic necessities of life. There is no clean water, no food, no electricity, no medicine. We are surviving day by day, with nothing but each other… and hope.
In the face of all this devastation, I am reaching out to you—not just for financial support, but for compassion. Your generosity, no matter how modest, can be a lifeline. It can bring food to an empty table, warmth to a cold night, and hope to a heart that’s close to breaking.
“To save one life is as if you’ve saved all of humanity.” — this is not just a saying. It’s a truth we live by every day.
Forced Displacement & Loss
Our nightmare began when we were forced to flee our home under relentless bombardment. We left with nothing—no clothes, no documents, no money—only our lives.
First, we were displaced from our home.
Then, we lost our small chalet in Al-Maghazi.
After that, we were driven out of a tiny room in Deir Al-Balah.
Now, we are surviving in a makeshift tent in Rafah, with nowhere else to go.
Each place we sought shelter in has been destroyed. There is no safe place left. Recently, we received confirmation that our family home has been completely leveled. The last pieces of our old life are now just rubble.
Yet we are still standing, still trying to hold on—to survive, to rebuild, to believe in the goodness of people.
I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help. We were always the ones giving, not receiving. But today, we are in desperate need. And so, I humbly ask for your support—so we can begin again.
Every dollar you give is not just financial aid—it’s an act of solidarity. It’s a message that we are not alone.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your kindness gives us the strength to keep going.
