GOD BLESS FAMILY!
My name is Abubakarr Kargbo known as "Ak" and I am a living testimony of how Jesus left the 99 to get the 1. Before coming to Summit I had a huge background of playing college football, which ranged from playing at the Division 3, Division 2, and Community College level.
In the year of 2023, I had a big opportunity to make this dream come true. A dream that I had since I was 12 years old. My dream of playing Division 1 football was right in front of me. Right in front of my hands. I had a scholarship opportunity to play linebacker at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. after having my best football year on the field.
After having my best football year on the field, in 2023, I was blessed to be an All- American Linebacker. By the grace of God I was ranked #6 in the country for tackles. Despite having a D1 scholarship, the Lord spoke to me personally for the first time through Psalms 46:10:
"Be still and know that I am God."
This led me to surrender to His will. He called me to a Bible school, in the middle of Grantville, Pennsylvania for 2 years! He's called me to live fully for Him. If I can be transparent with you my brothers and sisters, I should not be alive right now, but it's all through the grace of Jesus Christ that I'm here today.
Throughout my college years, from 2020-2023, I could of lost my life 3-4 times in car accidents. On my 19th birthday in 2021, after coming back from a party, I got in the most dangerous accident. I left untouched, alive, and breathing hallelujah. The Lord continually reassured me that He is not done with my life. He showed me that there is more!
During my freshman year, the Lord showed me how much true obedience to His will brings true deliverance. The Lord had to break and restore me into a new man this past school year. God has truly given me a firm identity in who I am as a child of God. He has given me clarity on what my calling is for my life! The gifts that He has given me through football and Christian rap has grown. In my 1st year at Summit I've seen nothing but transformation. I know who I am in Christ Jesus, so when it comes to my senior year I'm excited to lead serve the incoming freshman.

I was able to share my testimony on how the Lord changed, saved and used my life for His glory. I was able to testify about what God did before Summit, and what He was doing during my freshman year. It was an honor and blessing to be able to testify about the goodness of God in my home, New York City!
