Hi, my name is Skyla Handley,

I’m incredibly proud and excited to share that I’ve been officially selected to represent England on the England National Karate Team at the Cadet, Junior & Under-21 European Karate Championships in Limassol, Cyprus, taking place 6–8 February 2026.

I will be competing in Female Cadet +61kg Kumite, and earning this place has taken years of hard work, early mornings, long journeys, intense training sessions, and a lot of sacrifice. To wear the England badge is truly a dream come true and something I’ve worked toward for as long as I can remember.

While being selected for Team England is an amazing honour, competing at this level comes with significant costs, including travel, accommodation, competition fees, training, and equipment. I am fundraising to help cover these expenses so I can fully focus on preparing and performing at my best on the European stage.
