My name is Cay and I'm a piercer from the Netherlands!

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been awarded a scholarship to attend FEIBPMC: An educational piercing and body modification forum in Mexico in February 2026! The scholarship covers the conference entrance, hotel for three nights, and meals — which is an incredible opportunity I’m deeply grateful for.

However, the scholarship does not cover travel, hotel for additional nights, or extra expenses needed to fully engage with the culture and professional opportunities. I hope to spend at least a week there, not only attending the conference but also visiting local studios, exploring Mexico’s rich artistic and cultural scene, and learning as much as possible to bring back knowledge and skills to my work.

I’ve set a goal of €2,500, which will cover:

Round-trip flight to Mexico (~€900)

Hotel for additional nights (~€400)

Food and daily expenses (~€350)

Safe local transport (~€150)

Studio visits and cultural experiences (~€700)
