Hi everyone,

I’m incredibly excited (and a little nervous) to share this with you — I’ve been given the opportunity to travel to India in January of 2026 as part of a university-level diversity and education course. This program isn’t just about sightseeing — it’s a meaningful, academic experience where we’ll be traveling across India to visit schools, meet students and educators, and learn about how culture, language, and identity shape education around the world.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to explore what diversity looks like outside of the U.S. and see how different communities overcome educational challenges with limited resources, while still finding powerful ways to connect and grow.

The total cost of the trip (including flights, lodging, program fees, and travel within India) is approximately $5,800, and I’m doing everything I can to make this dream possible — working, applying for scholarships, and budgeting carefully. But I can’t do it alone.
