Hey, my name is Aylan Mamer. I am a freshman at ECU, majoring in anthropology. I am fundraising for my 2025 summer study abroad program in La Rochelle, France.

I have always wanted to travel and see the world, and I have been given a wonderful opportunity to do so on a study abroad! This study abroad in France is 5 weeks of intensive language courses and cultural immersion. I will get 2 language credits from my trip abroad and complete all of my foreign language requirements in my first year.

Unfortunately, opportunities like this come with a high cost. The tuition is $5,000, and I currently have two scholarships that cover $2,250. I need money to help cover the rest of my tuition as well as my plane ticket, suitcase, food, and other travel expenses that are not included with tuition. I’m hoping to raise $3,000 to help cover the essential costs of this trip. Even the smallest contribution brings me one step closer to this dream.
