Hey everyone!
I've been afforded an amazing (and potentially once in a lifetime opportunity) to participate in a short-term study abroad program in Costa Rica this summer. This trip will be to earn credit in an upper-division Economics course (as I am an Economics major). On this trip I'll visit several multinational and local companies to see economics in action such as the:
- Hospira ICU Medical - where I’ll learn more about medical tourism in Costa Rica
- Cocoa Farm Agricultural Tour - where I’ll see the lifecyle of the cocoa bean and how it’s transformed into coffee and chocolate.
- The Boston Consulting Group - where I’ll see first-hand how global consulting firms manage and support global operations.
Here is how the funds would be allocated:
$2,500 - WorldStrides Travel Company (includes airfare, travel insurance, hotel accomodations, cultural tours, ground transportation, meals.
$1,500 - Summer Session Credit Hour and Technology Fee
$1,500 - Incidentals
Anything you can donate would be sincerely appreciated. If you cannot donate, I'd appreciate a referral to your network for those in need of business consulting services or a share of this link ❤️
