Hi, my name is Klaudia Gjoni, I’m 16 years old, and I currently attend GDQ International Christian School in Tirana, Albania.

I'm truly excited to share that I've been accepted into the prestigious

Barcelona International Youth

Science Challenge (BIYSC) 2025, a world-class science program for young students passionate about science. This summer, from July 7-18, I'll join top students from around the world in Barcelona, Spain to explore cutting-edge science, conduct real research, and learn from some of the brightest minds in the field.

I was selected for a program centred on synthetic biology where I will be able to genetically alter DNA as well as the E. coli bacteria.

The total cost of the program is €3,200, and unfortunately, there are no scholarships for international students.
