Support Me In Building a Farm-Based Healing Space!

Hi! I'm Stacey. Over the years I’ve learned the hard way that our minds, bodies, and money are all connected. Growing up poor, Black, and a woman led to a lot of traumatic experiences which have had a significant impact on my wellbeing. As the traumas piled up, my physical and mental health would wear down and I couldn't always afford to address both at the same time, so health issues persisted.

I now realize that addressing all areas of wellbeing is critical. I also realize my ability to not only survive my circumstances, but thrive, was due to the fact that whenever things started to look bleak, someone would come along and give me the greatest gift I didn’t even know I needed: hope. That, along with my lessons learned from lived experience, is the gift I want to pass on to others.

My dream is to purchase land and start a farm that provides people, especially Black people dealing with the unique compounded trauma of being Black and a member of another marginalized group (female, low-income, LGBTQ+, etc.), access to healing their mental, physical, and financial health, but I need your help to do that. I have found community partners who are willing to support in different ways because they believe in my vision. The support I need from you is funds to pay for land.

My initial goal is to raise $10,000 toward the purchase of land for this "agro-healing" space. Any amount you are able to give would be appreciated. Thank you!
