Hello, my name is Balogun John Tosin. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Physics) from the National Open University of Nigeria, and I am excited to share that I have been offered admission to pursue my postgraduate degree with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom.
This opportunity means the world to me - it is a significant step toward achieving my lifelong dream of becoming an educator who not only inspires students but also contributes meaningfully to shaping the next generation.
I'm asking for your help, through this platform, because I'm currently facing a financial hurdle in my journey. Although I've already invested heavily in this journey, including paying my initial deposit of £3,000 to secure my place(a huge commitment given the economic situation and exchange rate in Nigeria of approximately £1 to N2170), I am still in need of funds to cover my UK student visa application fee, Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) and cost of travel.
These final requirements are crucial steps in securing my visa, and without them, I may not be able to continue this life-changing journey. Your support, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards:
Visa Application Fee, Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) & other administrative fees/costs.
By helping me reach this goal, you are not just funding an individual. You are investing in a future teacher who is passionate about having a positive impact in the classroom and beyond - I am deeply committed to using this education to empower others and contribute to building a brighter future for young learners, both in Nigeria and globally.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. Your generosity can make all the difference - each and every penny counts.
With gratitude,
Balogun John Tosin
