Since I was little, I loved theatre. My parents will tell you, I was quite the dramatic one. I remember copying the characters I’d seen on TV. Throughout high school, I performed in many plays; it’s always been a dream of mine to make it into the entertainment industry. However, it didn’t seem practical. As I got older, life kept throwing me curveballs, and my dream started to look more like an unattainable wish.

A while back, I realized that my passion did not fade even with time. I took a chance and auditioned for a performing arts school and got in! Throughout my time there, I had so much fun and knew that this is what I want to do. I have also realized that hard work and dedication open the door of opportunity to achieve a dream. A few days ago, I “graduated” and got to perform for some important people. From that performance, I got an invitation to an exclusive event in LA that will allow me to network and show off my talents. This opportunity will put me one step closer to my goal.

While I now know that I can push forward to reach my goals, one big obstacle is standing in my way: the financial aspect. I am asking anyone who is able to help me invest in my future. Every penny counts, but please do not feel obligated to donate! I know how tight things can be.
