Support My Dream: Circus Arts Training
Donation protected
Running away with the circus isn’t just a childhood dream anymore—this September, I’ll be starting my first year at the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA), training to become a professional Chinese Pole artist! NECCA is a one-of-a-kind nonprofit trade school dedicated to circus performance, which unfortunately means it isn’t eligible for federal student aid like traditional colleges. As much as I wish I could apply for grants and loans, circus students have to fund their training out-of-pocket—and finding scholarships for circus trade schools is about as rare as taming a unicorn! Tuition alone is $15,000 a year, and on top of that, housing near the school is $520 a month, not including utilities and food. Every dollar I raise brings me one step closer to flipping, flying, and performing full-time!
I’m fundraising because I truly believe circus arts have the power to inspire wonder, courage, and joy—and I’m ready to dedicate myself completely to this extraordinary craft. Between tuition, rent, and keeping myself fueled with enough peanut butter and bananas to survive training (seriously, circus school is intense), the financial circus I’m juggling is almost bigger than the physical one! Your support—whether it’s big, small, or simply sharing this page—means the world to me. You’re not just helping me pay for school; you’re helping launch a lifelong dream under the big top. Thank you for believing in this wild, wonderful journey!
