Jack Svanholm was born on May 2nd 2018 in the small town of Tønder in Southern Denmark. My family always had scottish terriers, and when whe came across the little guy with the blue collar, we quickly fell in love. Our family travelled from Aalborg in Northern Denmark to Tønder, to take Jack to his new home. Jack is energetic, happy, smart and an all-round loving ball of fur. Since my mother got diagnosed with breast cancer in August, he’s been by her side, brightening up her day with his happy face. Also helping the entire family going through hard times.

Now, he’s been a part of the family for seven months, but in the last week, Jack has been getting sick, complaining about stomach aches and waking up screaming from pain. We have found out that he suffers from an UTI and possibly pyelonephritis, but there might be a foreign object in his stomach  that is making him sicker. The only solution is for him to go into surgery to solve the mystery. We couldn’t bear having to put our wonderful, happy boy down without having done everything, but one thing is certain; he should not be suffering anymore.

Unfortunately, this surgery is quite expensive and my mother is already sick, so we are not sure we have the remedies to pay. That is why we have started this campaign, to hopefully raise a few bucks for Jacks surgery so he can get better and my mother doesn’t have to worry about being able to afford it. He’s the core of the family, and we can’t bear loosing him.
