Hi! A few weeks ago, my dog was hit by a car after managing to open up the gate. Since it was on a Sunday, I had to rush her to an emergency vet.

We were there for 5 hours and sent home with a splint that was supposed to help heal her broken bones correctly. Unfortunately, when I took her to a follow-up with her vet, I was informed that she hadn’t healed at all and my only options were surgery or amputation.

After weighing out my options and taking into account the recovery process, I chose the best option for her was amputation. Altogether, the costs between both vets and taking time off to take her have been about $7000. If you can, anything helps. Thank you so much! :)
