Please Support Karl's Documentary Dream

Donation protected

Illinois residents, WWII history buffs, military enthusiasts, Wall Street bankers and biography lovers will all enjoy this widely appealing story.

For more than ten years Karl Taylor  has been researching the life of a fascinating man that hailed from his hometown, Elmwood, Illinois  for a biography. The man also graduated from his Alma Mater, Knox College, in Galesburg, Illinois many years ahead of Karl. While uncovering details and artifacts verifying Nelson Dean Jay was an American Hero who never sought the spotlight, Karl found filmmaker (and also Knox graduate) Vincent Singleton  to help tell the story.

The research has been done, some interviews have taken place, but now he needs additional funding to put the story to the screen.  We are seeking support for a 60 minute documentary for public television.

Initial capital has been acquired to make this movie a reality and we are working with Chicago Filmmakers  to make this happen in the near future.

Additional donations towards the project will be used for casting actors, wardrobe and location rental.

Donors, with their approval, will be acknowledged in the film's credits starting at the $500 level.

Will you be a part of history? We need your help to introduce this American Hero to the world. Your donations can help make it happen.
