Support My Type 1 Diabetic Mom Facing Eviction

Dear Friends,

My mom is facing a deadline of June 11th to come up with the remainder of her rent arrears that accumulated during COVID layoffs or she will be evicted from her home of 30 years. We've have exhausted every possible resource in what has been an opaque journey through NYC's public assistance maze which is very difficult and unforgiving to navigate. She is currently working however while paying current rent, it has been difficult for her to catch up with the debt to her landlord. She is type 1 diabetic and relies on her rent stabilized apartment as her only safety net. I have organized this fundraiser on her behalf for one last push to get her over what has been an arduous post pandemic challenge.
