I am writing to share my plans for this summer. I have joined the Stony Brook University Dental Outreach chapter of VAW Global Health Alliances and will be traveling to the Dominican Republic for two weeks to support public health initiatives. VAW Global Health Alliances is a global health organization that partners with local communities to improve access to essential healthcare, including dental services, health education, and basic resources. During this trip, we will work alongside local professionals to run mobile dental clinics, providing free care such as exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. We will also visit local schools to teach children about basic health and hygiene.

Many communities in the Dominican Republic face limited access to healthcare due to a lack of resources and infrastructure. To help make this outreach possible, I am raising funds to support medical supplies, medications, and clinic operations. Donations directly support free dental care for underserved communities.
