I am excited to share that I have been invited to join a Dental Mission trip to Guyana, South America this upcoming March. Alongside a team of dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and students, I will have the opportunity to provide cleanings, tooth brushing instruction, sealants, restorations, and even a few extractions to people who rarely have access to dental care. Last year, the team saw about 600 patients in just four and a half days—many of whom had never been to a dentist before. The services we provide would otherwise cost a year’s wages, so the gratitude from the community is truly overwhelming.

This trip is not only a chance to serve others, but also to experience a unique part of the world. The Guyanese people speak English, which will make connecting with them even more meaningful. I’m looking forward to learning about their culture, history, and faith traditions, and to seeing how God is at work in this vibrant country. While patients wait to be seen, local pastors will share the Gospel message, offering hope and encouragement to everyone, regardless of their background.
