Life has taken a difficult turn for my dear friend, Liana.

Many of you may remember her — she used to be my roommate in Orlando, FL. She’s one of those rare people who radiate warmth and fun wherever they go.

But now, Liana needs our help. She’s a devoted single mom doing everything she can to care for her 4-year-old son. Recently, she lost her job. Liana is my Armenian friend from Georgia, and with her entire family back home, she has no one nearby to lean on. After being betrayed by her husband and left to care for her little boy alone, she’s been struggling to afford daycare, rent, and car expenses while searching for new work. Despite everything, she’s doing her best to rebuild — but it’s an uphill climb without a helping hand.

Liana is the kind of mom who gives her all — patient, hardworking, and full of love. Right now, though, she’s caught in an impossible cycle: she can’t work without childcare, and she can’t afford childcare without work.
