Hi everyone,

I am beyond thrilled to share that I have been offered an incredible opportunity to perform with The Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2025 Drum Corps International (DCI) season!

For those who may not be familiar, DCI is the highest level of performance in the marching arts, bringing together the most elite performers from across the country. As part of this experience, I will travel across the United States, competing in 22+ competitions leading up to the World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Beginning May 24th, I will travel to Sacramento, California, where I will train for 12-14 hours a day throughout June to prepare for the demanding 10+ minute production we'll perform all season. From there, we will tour the country, performing and competing at the highest level.

My journey in the marching arts began when I made the switch from football to color guard during my junior year of high school. Since then, I have been a dedicated member of the Dobyns-Bennett High School Color Guard and Winter Guard programs, performing as a rifle line member and even as a soloist in various performances. Color guard has become more than just an activity for me—it's a passion that has shaped me into the person I am today. It has provided me with a sense of belonging, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable experiences, including the unwavering support of my amazing girlfriend, Olivia.

However, participating in DCI comes with a significant financial challenge. The total cost for this season, including tuition, travel, and necessary expenses, is expected to be around $7,000 to $8,000. I am starting from scratch and will be relying on fundraising to make this dream a reality.

$6,200 - Mandatory Season Fees and Expenses

$1,000 - Equipment, Extra items, Clothing, Seasonal spending money, Additional Costs

ALL MONEY WILL GO TOWARD MY SEASON, Anything left unused after the season will immediately go into savings for my next DCI season.
