Description: My daughter has a unique opportunity this summer: she’s been accepted to attend a camp at Gallaudet University for the Deaf in Washington, DC. This camp is more than just a fun experience—it’s a chance for her to expand her skills, connect with peers who share her experiences, and see what her future could look like beyond middle school. As a Deaf child, she faces challenges in academics, communication, and social situations that many people don’t realize. Opportunities like this camp are rare, and they can make a huge difference in building confidence and hope for what’s possible.
The funds raised will help cover the camp fee, travel, and spending money, allowing her to participate fully and focus on learning, growing, and dreaming about her future. Even though she’s only in 6th grade, this experience could inspire her to think about what’s possible after high school and help her build a supportive network for years to come.
We’re reaching out to our community for help because we know that it truly takes a village. Your support—no matter the amount—will help my daughter access an opportunity she might not otherwise have. Thank you for considering a donation and for being part of her journey.
