Hello,
Please see my daughters story below!
Hey! My name is Maya McIntyre and I am competing at Miss Teenage Canada this July in Toronto! Pageantry is a beautiful opportunity for young girls to build their confidence, poise, and independence especially amidst a growing sisterhood. There is a lot of planning and preparing that goes into ensuring success at the pageant. It give us young girls the opportunity to construct a platform that advocates for something that we hold personally and so we can grow as young leaders in our communities. In the process, we are encouraged to find ways to seek sponsors and resources including fundraiser that can support us financially. As a national Delegate, there are a lot of expenses and additional payments that go into the competition. These include the entrance fee, plane ticket, jewelry, makeup, gowns, and the main payment of $3,225.50. My main goal is to collect $5,000, as additional payments will add up along the way. Through this fundraiser, I hope to build by platform that advocates for neurodiversity, promote myself as a young leader, and ensure I am financially secure as a contestant at Miss Teenage Canada 2025! Pageantry has grown me as a young representative for my community and echoed my voice to different networks so I can make an impact. It is a journey that puts young girls and their personalities on the national stage, and the best part is that girls go with a group of sisters who go through the same thing. It really is path of excitement, thrill, activity, and sisterhood. I hope you can support me to continue being a part of the sisterhood and help me promote awareness for neurodivergent individuals through my platform and my delegacy at nationals this summer!
