Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters. I am the mother of this amazing beautiful woman.

We are rallying around our beloved daughter/ friend Jenn Taylor, who is currently fighting for her life in the hospital after a sudden and devastating medical emergency.

On June 5th, Jenn was transferred from St. Mary's to Grand River hospilal for emergency exploratory surgery and was diagnosed with Fournier’s Gangrene, a rare but life-threatening infection caused by strep A. Despite the swift actions of her medical team, Jenn required a second surgery on June 7th. That same day, she was placed into a medically induced coma to stabilize her condition. The following day, June 8th, we received the heartbreaking news that Jenn had developed sepsis, a dangerous complication that can affect multiple organs and requires intensive, round-the-clock care. She's in the Intensive care unit at Grand River Hospital. We're told she will be there for a several monyhs at the very least.

Jenn is one of the kindest, most giving people we know, and now she needs our help. The days ahead are critical and uncertain, and while her loved ones remain by her side, the financial burden is growing rapidly. Your donations will go directly toward covering:

Update June 11th ~ Talked to doctor today and he said "what she has is fatal, so the fact that she's made it this far is a good sign" She's still on life support and heavily sedated. They put her on dialysis due to kidney damage. Recovery will be a very long process.

I know she will appreciate all the donations, prayers and support.

Update June 13th: ~ Jenn's surgery last night went well. She's still in a medically induced coma & on life support. But doctors are confident she will recover. She will definitely be in the hospital for several months though.

Update: June 21st ~ She is off the vent. Still has oxygen line. They had her sitting up in a chair today for a few minutes.. She's very alert & also very scared. She can't speak yet to give her throat a chance to heal from the vent tube.

Update: July 6 ~ Still in ICU. Has been starting to gain some mobility. Has been walking down the halls with assistance of a walker.
