I'm your friendly neighborhood human rights activist (focused on Palestine for the past two years). You've probably seen me flagging or my chalk hearts for Gaza/Palestine throughout the city. I know they've sparked meaningful conversations/interactions and have given comfort to many in our community. I am proud to stand in solidarity with my Palestinian brothers and sisters, and to dedicate 40+ hours per week to spark conversations and inspire change. Little more on me. I've received 2 messages this week criticizing my go fund me which I expected. It was with great trepidation that I even created it. The last 2 years have taken its toll emotionally/physically and financially. It truly pales in comparison to what's happening to our Pal brothers and sisters. Last year I took out 10k in credit to allow myself to work part-time and dedicate the vast majority of my time to Pal activism. That has now dried up. I have no regrets and would do it all again - I've never had so much confidence about anything before. The majority of my activism is solo, loud and proud which is not who I was 2 years ago - this has changed me for the rest of my days, like it has many of us. I used to be on and off anxiety meds for most of my life but I haven't used them in almost 2 years. I've never felt so confident to stand for anything. I want to maintain as much dedication as possible and would NEVER want any funds that would go to our Pals to come my way instead. Some allies can't put themselves on the front lines because of work/family/fear etc.. but cheer on from the sidelines. I want to continue to be an approachable advocate on the front lines. I do reside in the belly of the beast and they've tried everything to silence me. While its 95% love with the other 5% being quite disturbing, the solidarity always prevails. Two years ago I'd run from confrontation and cower to aggression, now I stand loud and proud for our Pals and never back down. Unfortunately I've been assaulted a few times and along with that comes unexpected expenses as well.

If you've read all this I appreciate you taking the time to understand me a bit more.
