My dad is the most incredible, hardworking man I know. He has always put his family first, working tirelessly to provide and support us. Recently, he was admitted to Strong Memorial Hospital after we feared he had a stroke. After countless tests and sleepless nights, we received a heartbreaking diagnosis: AGL1 encephalitis, coupled with faciobronchial dystonic seizures.

This is a lifelong condition, and it has turned our world upside down. My dad won’t be able to work or drive for the foreseeable future, and we are navigating this new reality one day at a time. While we are doing everything we can to support him, the medical bills and daily living expenses are piling up.
